Where I visit

School visits.

Occupational therapy at your own school, supporting independence in everyday skills in your child’s environment.

School is where children learn, connect and spend most of their day. It's also a place where everyday skills like independence, routines, regulation and meaningful connections naturally show up.

In this environment, therapy can happen as part of a child's normal school day, without needing to leave for appointments.

How school visits work.

1

Reach out to see if I'm the right fit for your child and family.

2

With your consent, I contact your child's school to explore suitable times for visits. We then check back in together to decide if and how you'd like to proceed.

3

We start with a session at home, via telehealth or in the community so your child can build familiarity and feel at ease before school sessions begin.

4

Therapy sessions continue at school, with regular updates to caregivers after each session. I work collaboratively with you and the school on goals where support can also extend beyond school environments.

5

During school holidays, we can organise home or community visits, or your child may like a therapy break, either is okay. This could also be a good time to check in about progress and goals for the following school term.

I service schools across North & North-Eastern Adelaide, Gawler and the Barossa. If you're unsure whether your child's school is within my service area, please get in touch and I'll let you know.
